Our cabins are very secluded, yet not remote. All cabins are conveniently located less than one-half mile from an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which provides some of the most spectacular scenic overlooks in all of Swain County. We are less than two miles from Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, and only ten miles from the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino.
We are only ten miles from the Nantahala Gorge and Tsali Recreation Area. The Gorge has some of the best whitewater rafting and kayaking in the south; and Tsali has several nationally known biking trails. Deep Creek is less than two miles away from the cabins and has some of the best trout fishing in the Southeast and is also a great place to rent a tube and enjoy a refreshing ride down the Creek through the National Park. We are also only minutes from Lake Fontana and the Tuckaseigee River.
